Transmission

ENGIE Energía Perú has a total of 293 kilometers of different transmission lines in 138, 220 and 500 kV that are used as part of the energy process.

 

In addition, for this activity, it has a substation located in the province of Mariscal Nieto, department of Moquegua. This substation is an important center for reception, transformation and distribution of electricity in the south of the country and serves as a connection point for the Ilo21, Ilo31 and Ilo41 power plants to the SEIN.

Moquegua Substation

It is located in the province of Mariscal Nieto, department of Moquegua. It is an important center for the reception, transformation and distribution of electricity in the south of the country and serves as a connection point for the Ilo21, Ilo31 and Ilo41 power plants to the SEIN.
he substation has a control room, two auto-transformers of 300 MVA 138/220 kV each and double bars in 220 and 138 kV. In the 220 kV bars are connected the Socabaya-Moquegua, Ilo2-Moquegua, Moquegua-Puno, Moquegua-Tacna and Moquegua-Montalvo transmission lines; while in the 138 kV bars are the Ilo1-Moquegua, Moquegua-Botiflaca, Moquegua-Toquepala-REP lines and the supply to the City of Moquegua, via 138/10 kV transformation cell.
