Renewable energy
Today, a wind power plant called Punta Lomitas is being developed, which would consist in the installation of 57 wind turbines, distributed over an area of 77 hectares, with a unit capacity of between 4.5 and 5.2 megawatts per wind turbine; and a 60 kilometer electric transmission line that would connect the wind farm to the National Interconnected Electric System (SEIN).
