Power Generation

ENGIE Energía Perú contributes to the National Interconnected Electric System (SEIN) with a capacity of 2,496 MW of nominal power.  In line with our purpose of acting to accelerate the transition towards a carbon-neutral economy, it has integrated the concept of sustainability to its business model, betting on the generation of renewable energy. In 2019, 50% of its energy production was with low CO2 energy (natural gas and renewable energies).

Energy Production

In 2019, ENGIE Energía Perú produced 6,604GWh of energy, which places it among the main electricity generation companies in the country.
