Frank Jean Alain Demaille
Head Director. Male gender. Year of birth: 1976.

 

 

 

He is the current CEO of ENGIE Latin America. Previously he was President and CEO of ENGIE North America Inc. which manages a range of energy businesses in the United States and Canada, including clean energy generation and cogeneration, retail energy sales and comprehensive services to help customers manage their facilities more efficiently and effectively. Optimizing energy and other resources use and expenditure. Nearly 100 percent of the company’s power generation portfolio is low-carbon or renewable. Globally, ENGIE is the largest independent power producer and provider of energy efficiency services in the world, with operations in 70 countries that employ 150,000 people, including 1,000 researchers at 11 research and development centers. Prior to this position, Frank served as Executive Vice President of the International Division of ENGIE’s Energy Services Division (BES), responsible for BES’ business development and activities in the Pacific, Asia and the Americas. Previously, he was CEO of CPCU, the Paris district heating system (4,200 MWth, 600 km network), and worked in Dubai and Santiago, Chile, for ENGIE’s Energy International business. Prior to joining the company in 2009, he held various positions in the French Ministry of Finance and as an advisor to the French Prime Minister. Frank graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and the “Corps des Mines” in France. He also holds a Master’s degree in Finance.

Fernando Martín de la Flor Belaunde
Head Director (independent). Male gender. Year of birth: 1962.

He has been a director of ENGIE Energía Perú since 2016. He is the founding director of Grupo Caral, a company dedicated to the development of social housing. He was partner and executive director of McDonald’s Corporation in Peru. He worked for 15 years in the automotive industry where he started as a design engineer in General Motors Corporation (USA), until becoming CEO of Kia, Subaru, Mazda and Peugeot in Peru. He is a director of Amrop, GN Brands Chile, Corporación Media Chakana, ParkOffice, SomosMoto, the League for the Fight Against Cancer, and the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property. He was President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), founder of the Peruvian Association of Automotive Representatives, as well as Director of the American Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He holds a master’s degree in design engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University

José Luis Casabonne Ricketts

He has been a director of ENGIE Energía Perú since 2016. He is a director of Inca Tops S.A., Incalpaca TPX S.A. and CRAC Incasur. He was General Manager of AFP Horizonte and Deputy General Manager of BBVA Continental. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, he also served as general manager of Banco Ripley and in the direction of People’s Banking at Banco de Credito del Peru and at Interbank. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of BBVA Continental Sociedad Administradora de Fondos Mutuos, as well as Vice Chairman of the Board of Amerika Financiera. He was also a member of the Board of Grupo RPP S.A.C., of Refineria la Pampilla S.A.A. (Repsol Group), CARDIF Compañía de Seguros y Reaseguros (BNP Paribas Group), BBVA Banco Provincial de Venezuela, Banco de Crédito del Perú, among others. He has a degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacifico, with a master’s degree from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Administración (IESA) Venezuela. He attended the Senior Management Program at the University of Piura.

Pierre Victor M. Devillers
Head Director. Male gender. Year of birth: 1971.

 

 

 

Pierre has 20 years of experience in the energy sector. Born in Belgium, he has a Master’s degree in Law, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Finance. Pierre began his career within the ENGIE group in 1996, where he held various positions for Electrabel (in the generation and distribution of electricity, as well as at the headquarters level). In 2001 he joined the Portfolio Management and Operations division, where he coordinated the various support activities (Finance, Legal, ICT, Com and Human Resources) and founded and took over the general management of Electrabel European Portfolio Management. In 2007, after leading an in-depth transformation program of European HR organizations and processes, he became the Human Resources Director for the business area of Energy BeNeLux and Germany. In 2010, he was a member of the core team of the Integration Office of International Power – GDF Suez, preparing the merger between the two energy giants.

Marc Jacques Z. Verstraete
Head Director. Male gender. Year of birth: 1969.

 

 

 

After graduating as a Commercial Engineer from the Catholic University of Leuven in 1991 and completing an MBA from the International University of America in 1994, Marc joined ING Bank in the corporate banking division. n 1997, he joined ENGIE as a senior financial advisor in Belgium. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Florianopolis in Brazil at the time of ENGIE’s successful bid for the Gerasul power generation company. He then assumed the position of CFO in this organization. After 10 years in Brazil, Marc returned to Belgium to join Tractebel also as CFO. In 2013, he became the CFO for BU Asia-Pacific based in Bangkok, a position he has held until now.

Axel Nicolas L. Leveque
Head Director. Male gender. Year of birth: 1971.

 

 

 

Current CEO of ENGIE Energía Chile, Axel has more than 15 years of experience in the power generation business. He began his career in GDF SUEZ in 1996 as a Project Engineer for Tractebel Energy Engineering (Belgium), where he became Feasibility Project Manager. In 1999, he was transferred to Chile as Deputy Site Manager in the construction of a 400 MW combined cycle power plant. He was then transferred to Spain as Project Manager for a 25 MW cogeneration plant in Barcelona. In 2002, he returned to Chile as Project Manager and in 2004 he was transferred to Peru as COO of ENGIE Energía Perú. In 2008, Axel was promoted to SVP Business Development for Peru. In 2011, he assumed the position of COO for Latin America based in Brazil, with special focus on the Jirau hydroelectric plant. Finally, since 2014 Axel has been the CEO of ENGIE Energia Chile.

He has been the CEO of ENGIE Energía Perú since February 2018. He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector and has held various executive positions for ENGIE in Europe, North America and Latin America. He has been Director of Human Resources for ENGIE Group in Paris and, previously, Executive Vice President of Human Resources for ENGIE’s former energy business unit in London. He has also held the positions of Vice President and Director of Human Resources for ENGIE Latin America and ENGIE North America, respectively, between 2006 and 2011. In 2014, he was director of ENGIE Energía Chile. He has a degree in Human Resources Management from the Sociale Hogeschool KVMW Gent in Belgium. He has a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Ghent University (Belgium) and a General Management program from CEDEP (European Center for Continuing Education) at the business school, INSEAD, in France.

Daniel Javier Cámac Gutierrez
Alternate Director. Male gender. Year of birth: 1968.

 

 

 

He worked as Commercial and Regulatory Manager of ENGIE Energía Perú since May 2012, and later, since August 2016, as Commercial Vice President. Previously, he held the position of Vice Minister of Energy at the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru. He worked at the Peruvian Regulatory Agency as manager of the Electricity Generation and Transmission Regulation Division. He is an electrical engineer graduated from the Universidad Nacional del Centro del Peru. He has obtained a Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad ESAN del Perú. He studied a doctorate in Science at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). He has also carried out other specialized studies in Argentina, Brazil and the United States.

Felisa del Carmen Ros
Alternate Director. Female gender. Year of birth: 1967.

 

 

 

She has been the Vice President of Operations of ENGIE Energia Peru since August 2016 and, previously, she was its Operations Manager. He has held the position of Vice President Ercot Region in GDF SUEZ Energy North America (today ENGIE North America) and, previously, Vice President of Mexico & Canada in the area of Generation. Between these two positions, he was responsible for the operation of a total installed capacity of 5,800 MW. He has held various positions in the ENGIE group since joining in 1998, in Argentina (head of Construction), Peru (Technical Manager) and Mexico (Regional Director and Director of Operations Support). She is a civil engineer graduated from the National University of Rosario, Argentina, with an MBA from the University of Phoenix, USA.

 

 

 

Marcelo Fernandes Soares

He specialized in Industrial Engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh (USA) and a Master’s Degree in Finance and Economics from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (Brazil). He is the Financial Director (CFO) of ENGIE Energía Perú since August 2017. He joined ENGIE Group in 2006 in Rio de Janeiro as part of the Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory (AIFA) team and, during this period, Marcelo led several M&A, corporate finance and project finance transactions, including a 2-year period in Panama, leading the team that covered Central America. Before moving to Peru, Marcelo led the AIFA team in Brazil from 2011. Before joining the group, Marcelo worked for 8 years in an investment bank in Brazil controlled by Brookfield and Mellon Bank, dealing with mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, venture capital funds and capital markets.

Gilda Maria Luisa Spallarossa Lecca

Joined ENGIE Energía Perú in August 2012 as Deputy Legal Manager. She assumed the Legal Management since April 2015, and then, since August 2016, the Legal Vice-presidency. She graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú with a degree in Law. She has a Master in Public Law IDEC from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She has been a partner at Miranda & Amado Abogados, in the areas of Gas & Electricity, infrastructure projects, administrative law, civil law and litigation.

She is Director of ENGIE Peru S.A., ENGIE Services Peru S.A. and CAM Servicios del Peru S.A.
